Penn State Altoona Ag Day set for April 24

Penn State Altoona’s annual Ag Day will take place on Thursday, April 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Slep Quad.

ALTOONA, Pa. — Penn State Altoona’s annual Ag Day will take place on Thursday, April 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Slep Quad.

Numerous organizations will be featured including the Pennsylvania Game Commission, the Blair County Dairy Princess, Penn State Cooperative Extension, and the College of Agricultural Sciences. Several Penn State Altoona student organizations will be there with give-a-ways and information.

In addition to a petting zoo, there will be lawn games, mechanical bulls, a scavenger hunt, and Penn State Berkey Creamery ice cream. Attendees will be able to plant their own herb or flower in donated coffee mugs while supplies last.

Ag Day is sponsored by Penn State Altoona’s Ag Club.
