Penn State Altoona to host screening of ‘Autism Goes to College’

Penn State Altoona will host a screening of the film “Autism Goes to College” on Wednesday, April 9, from noon to 1:15 p.m. in the Fireside Lounge of the Slep Student Center.

ALTOONA, Pa. — Penn State Altoona will host a screening of the film “Autism Goes to College” on Wednesday, April 9, from noon to 1:15 p.m. in the Fireside Lounge of the Slep Student Center.

Through Guillermo, Jasmine, Caroline, Jonathan and Aniella, the film offers an eye-opening look at the unique challenges a growing number of neurodivergent students are experiencing in college and what they bring to their campuses.

The film screening is free and open to the public and is sponsored by Student Disability Resources.
