Penn State Altoona faculty to host live chat with author Paul Tremblay

Brian Onishi, associate professor of philosophy, and Jeff Stoyanoff, assistant professor of English and of women's, gender and sexuality studies, released a new episode of their podcast, "Horror Joy" titled “Never Whistle at Night.”

ALTOONA, Pa. — Penn State Altoona faculty members Brian Onishi and Jeff Stoyanoff will host a live virtual chat with New York Times-bestselling author Paul Tremblay at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 29, at Next Chapter Bookshop in downtown Hollidaysburg.

Tremblay will discuss his new middle grade novel, “Another,” and answer questions from attendees. He is the author of “Head Full of Ghosts,” “Cabin at the End of the World” and “Horror Movie.”

The event is free and open to the public.

Onishi and Stoyanoff are the hosts of “Horror Joy,” a podcast celebrating the emotional and intellectual joys of the horror genre.
