4th Place in the Pitt-Bradford Invitational

Freshman Luke Hoffnagle (Spring Grove, Pennsylvania/Spring Grove) shot 78 on the par 72 course to lead Penn State Altoona and tie for ninth place individually out of 93 golfers in the Pitt-Bradford Invitational.

Senior forward Shoshana Mahoney (Sweet Valley, Pennsylvania/Lake-Lehman) was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference’s Offensive Player of the Week after scoring a goal in each of the Lady Lions’ first two games of the season, including the double overtime game-winner against Southern Vermont on Sept. 1.

Penn State Altoona women’s volleyball became the first varsity sport at the campus to play a regular season event in the new Adler Arena on Tuesday, Sept. 5, when the Lady Lions hosted Shenandoah University.
