Penn State Altoona cereal drive to benefit local food pantry

Penn State Altoona’s Division of Student Affairs is collecting boxes of cereal for the St. Vincent DePaul Assumption Chapel Food Pantry in Altoona from Oct. 30 through Dec. 6.

ALTOONA, Pa. — Penn State Altoona’s Division of Student Affairs is collecting boxes of cereal for the St. Vincent DePaul Assumption Chapel Food Pantry in Altoona from Oct. 30 through Dec. 6.

The St. Vincent DePaul Food Pantry is a nonprofit charitable organization that helps people obtain emergency donated food, regardless of race, origin, sex, age, disability or creed. For 29 years, the pantry’s volunteer staff has provided services for people in need in the surrounding areas.

Donations are being collected in the Student Affairs Office, located in Room 103 of the Slep Student Center.
