ALTOONA, Pa. — Penn State Altoona welcomed hundreds of first-year students who moved into their residence hall rooms on Friday, Aug. 19.
Faculty, staff, and student volunteers unloaded belongings and helped the newcomers settle in. The weekend was packed with fun events and activities such as lawn games, arts and crafts, inflatable obstacle courses, tie-dying, Playfair, and a glow dance party.
