ALTOONA, Pa. — Erin Murphy, professor of English at Penn State Altoona, will be the featured reader at Spoken Word Night on Tuesday, April 26, from 6 to 8 p.m. at ArtsAltoona, 2212 6th Ave., Altoona.
Murphy will read from "Taxonomies," her new book of poems. An open mic event will follow during which attendees may read their own work or work by a favorite writer.
The event is free and open to the public.
