Altoona professor to offer presentation on new anthology

Patricia Jabbeh Wesley, professor of English at Penn State Altoona, has two poems featured in the June 2022 issue of Poetry magazine, which, according to the publication, is “the oldest monthly devoted to verse in the English-speaking world.”

ALTOONA, Pa. — Patricia Jabbeh Wesley, professor of English at Penn State Altoona, will present "Breaking the Silence: Anthology of Liberian Literature" from noon to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 27.

Jabbeh Wesley will discuss her project to college, compile, edit, and anthologize the literary works of established and emerging Liberian writers. Her presentation is sponsored by the Penn State College of the Liberal Arts.
