Altoona professor to offer presentation on new anthology

Patricia Jabbeh Wesley, professor of English at Penn State Altoona, has been invited to serve as the guest writer to open Carlow University’s 2025 MFA Dual Residency Program in Creative Writing. In her role, Jabbeh Wesley, will read from her poetry, speak to her poetics, and sign books on Friday, January 3, 2025.

ALTOONA, Pa. — Patricia Jabbeh Wesley, professor of English at Penn State Altoona, will present "Breaking the Silence: Anthology of Liberian Literature" from noon to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 27.

Jabbeh Wesley will discuss her project to college, compile, edit, and anthologize the literary works of established and emerging Liberian writers. Her presentation is sponsored by the Penn State College of the Liberal Arts.
