Penn State Altoona is offering ballet classes for adults on Sundays, Sept. 7, 14, 21, and 28, and Oct. 5 and 12. There is a $50 registration fee for the classes. Classes will be held in the dance studio, room 148 of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts.

Penn State Altoona is offering ballet classes for adults from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Sundays, Oct. 19, 26, Nov. 2, 9, 16 and 23. There is a $50 registration fee for the classes. Classes will be held in the dance studio, room 148 of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts.

Designed for all levels and abilities, this class provides instruction on barre exercises, alignment, flexibility, strength and coordination as well as the fundamentals of turns, leaps and dynamic traveling movements. Dancers are encouraged to wear athletic or dance attire and ballet shoes.
