The Student Nurses' Association of Pennsylvania (SNAP) is a statewide organization with a chapter at Penn State Altoona. The organization strives to connect nursing students of all backgrounds with the different nursing cohorts at Penn State Altoona. With the small campus community and generally small class sizes, SNAP promotes a sense of belonging and community among nursing students. SNAP hosts regular events for the campus community, various speakers of nursing and healthcare backgrounds, and community service activities in the Altoona area.
