PSU 2020, an SD60i locomotive gifted to Penn State Altoona by Norfolk Southern, makes its way from Curry Rail Services in Hollidaysburg to the Railroaders Memorial Museum in Altoona, where it will be stored in the museum’s Harry Bennett Memorial Roundhouse.
Penn State Altoona’s chancellor, Dr. Ron Darbeau, joined WTAJ News on Tuesday, March 21, to outline his vision of the future of Penn State Altoona.
Darbeau took the helm on January 3, 2023, after working as vice president for Faculty Affairs and Academic Operations at Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania. He said he has a deep affection for higher education and was “pulled by the need to give back” when deciding to come to Penn State Altoona.
