Erin Murphy, professor of English at Penn State Altoona, has published a new collection of documentary poetry about labor and employment. “Human Resources” features poems about global, national and historical labor matters.
For the third year in a row, Penn State Altoona softball infielder Gianna Hoppel, of Lewistown, was recognized by the College Sports Communicators for her academic success, as she was named to the organization’s NCAA Division III Academic All-District team.
