On Dec. 7, 2023, the Penn State Altoona World Languages program held a semester-end celebration honoring its best students in French, German and Spanish with certificates for outstanding achievement based on faculty nomination.
World Languages also celebrated the sixth iteration of its Global Conversations initiative, an opportunity for every Penn State Altoona student enrolled in a language course to conduct a series of real-time, video-based chats with native speakers in the target language. This past semester, Penn State Altoona students completed more than 380 conversations with peers from across the globe.
