Commitment, hard work and dedication to each other powered Penn State Altoona’s ice hockey club through a 16-6-2 season, a place in two league playoffs and a College Hockey East Division 4 championship win.
Penn State Altoona faculty and staff members were honored for their exemplary work and outstanding contributions during the annual Faculty and Staff Awards Ceremony held May 22 on campus. Nominated by the college community and selected by an awards committee, several faculty and staff members received awards unique to Penn State Altoona.
Penn State Altoona student-athletes Zayden Tamashiro, Jackson Newell, Sidney Nihart and Tristan Holland were announced as selections to the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference’s Donna Ledwin Spring All-Sportsmanship Team.
