Penn State Altoona is offering jazz dance classes for adults 6 to 7 p.m. Thursdays, July 10, 17, 24 and 31 and Aug. 7 and 14. There is a $50 registration fee for the classes. Classes will be held in the dance studio, Room 148 of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts.

Penn State Altoona is offering jazz dance classes for adults 6 to 7 p.m. Thursdays, July 10, 17, 24 and 31 and August 7 and 14. There is a $50 registration fee for the classes. Classes will be held in the dance studio, room 148 of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts.

No experience necessary, but all experience levels are welcome. Classes will include warm-ups, flexibility, strengthening, and coordination experiences, along with brief combinations in the jazz style. Participants must be 18 or older and should wear comfortable, movable clothing (tights and leotards are welcome but not required). Participants may bring jazz shoes or work barefoot.
