Titelman Study, Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts, Penn State Altoona
Penn State Altoona will host “Defining Trauma,” a conversation led by Melinda Furer, assistant professor of psychology, from 11:15 a.m. to 12:05 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 2, in the Titelman Study of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts. Light refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to the public.
Join us for a conversation about the clinical and colloquial definitions of "trauma" and how both play a key role in “All the Memories that Remain.” We will discuss ways in the author’s (and our own) conceptualizations of PTSD can influence health and healing from emotional wounds.
The event is part of Penn State Altoona’s Common Read initiative.
