Political Science Club
The aim of the Political Science Club is to introduce politics into students' lives and to connect the study of political science with real-life experiences in the political system. The club holds regular meetings, organizes discussions of political issues, and invites speakers to campus.
Pi Sigma Alpha
Pi Sigma Alpha is the Political Science honorary society. Eligible students must have completed 60 credits towards a baccalaureate degree, at least 10 credits in Political Science with at least one upper-division course with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and be in the upper third of their graduating class. Pi Sigma Alpha states as one of its purposes is "to stimulate scholarship and intelligent interest in political science." The society functions at the national level, sponsoring programs and events of value to the profession and teaching of political science, and at the chapter level. Each chapter is encouraged to provide a framework for enriching the exposure of its members and the wider university community to the study of government and issues of public concern.
