Students can register online at least five business days before picking up their permit at the Penn State Altoona University Parking Office, Poplar Building, located at the corner of Wopsononock Avenue and Juniata Gap Road. The Parking Office will be open from 8:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m., Monday–Friday.
Residential Student Parking
- Students and their guests are not considered visitors and should never park in visitor-designated areas.
- Residents of Cedar, Maple, and Spruce Halls and their guests must always park in the Rider Lot. Residents of Oak Hall and their guests must park in the Larch Lot unless otherwise instructed by the Parking Office.
Registering Your Vehicle
When completing the permit registration form, please put the local/school address where you will be residing while attending classes. Residence Hall students should list room number and residence hall.
