ALTOONA, Pa. — Yaw Agawu-Kakraba, professor of Spanish and of African studies at Penn State Altoona, has published his second novel.
“The Executioner’s Stepdaughter,” set against the charged backdrop of 1960s London and postcolonial Ghana, is a story of love, betrayal and the difficult choices an interracial couple must make as they navigate the cultural edicts their societies impose on them.
The novel is now available digitally and is forthcoming in print in September.
