Penn State Altoona professor is finalist for Midwest Book Award

ALTOONA, Pa. — The latest book by Todd Davis, professor of English and environmental studies at Penn State Altoona, has been named a finalist for a Midwest Book Award through the Midwest Independent Publishers Association.

“Ditch Memory: New & Selected Poems,” a retrospective volume, includes work from Davis's first seven books of poetry as well as 30 new poems. The award recognizes creativity in content and execution, overall book quality and the book’s unique contribution to its subject area.

Winners of the Midwest Book Award will be announced on June 28.
