ALTOONA, Pa. — Penn State Altoona will host a Liederabend on Thursday, March 27, at 7:30 p.m. in the Titelman Study of the Misciagna Center for Performing Arts. The event is free and open to the public.
Penn State Altoona music faculty Dr. Bonnie Cutsforth-Huber and Anthony Cornet, along with Penn State Altoona voice students, will perform 19th-century German Lieder, poems that have been set to music by German composers.
There will also be German and Austrian-inspired foods prepared by Penn State Altoona’s own Chef Jami Steffen.
