ALTOONA, Pa. — Todd Davis, professor of English and environmental studies at Penn State Altoona, will be a featured poet at the Dodge Poetry Festival in Newark, New Jersey.

The biennial Geraldine R. Dodge Poetry Festival, the largest poetry event in North America, takes place Oct. 17-19 at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center. Davis will read from his new book, “Ditch Memory: New & Selected Poems,” on three separate panels: "Writing Our Land: Environmental Justice," "A Poet's Heart Is Always Breaking," and "Griots, Troubadours and MCs: Poetry and the Oral Tradition."
