Penn State to host open dance class June 23

Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts

“Nature and Space,” a body of work by local artist Sam Dietze, will run from Jan. 30 through Feb. 9 in the McLanahan Gallery of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts at Penn State Altoona.

ALTOONA, Pa. — Penn State Altoona will host an open dance class from 1 to 2:15 p.m. on Sunday, June 23, in the Dance Studio, room 148 of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts.

The free class is open to anyone over the age of 18 and will feature movement and engagement through modern dance technique and improvisation. Dancers of all levels, styles, backgrounds and experiences are welcome.

The class is presented by Penn State Altoona’s dance program and Allied Motion Dance Company.
