Penn State Altoona invites the public to fall 2021 Student Showcase

ALTOONA, Pa. — The public is invited to the Penn State Altoona Student Showcase on Friday, Dec. 10, at the Devorris Downtown Center.

See firsthand how Penn State Altoona students are using knowledge from the classroom to enhance many organizations’ operations, products and services. Students will present in the areas of business, electro-mechanical engineering technology (EMET), security and risk analysis, and entrepreneurship. Many will also participate in the Pechter Business Plan Competition.

Student presentations run from 9 a.m. to noon. EMET project demonstrations will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Ralph and Helen Force Advanced Technology Center on the Ivyside campus. A full schedule is available on the Student Showcase page.

The Student Showcase is presented by Penn State Altoona's Division of Business, Engineering, and Information Sciences and Technology in partnership with the Blair County Chamber of Commerce and the Altoona Blair County Development Corporation.
