ALTOONA, Pa. — Hard Freight Café, an open mic event, will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, via Zoom. Enter the ID number 97524626973 and passcode 334435 to join. Attendees are invited to read or perform their own work or music or share a favorite piece of poetry or prose.
The event is open to the public and sponsored by the English program and "Hard Freight," Penn State Altoona’s online student literary magazine.
Nov. 10 is also the deadline for fall 2020 submissions to "Hard Freight." Up to three entries per student in the categories of fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction, and visual art (including photography) may be submitted to "Hard Freight" online.
