Walk-in COVID-19 testing available for registered students Sept. 25

ALTOONA, Pa. — Penn State Altoona is offering free, walk-in COVID-19 testing today, Friday, Sept. 25, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. All students are welcome. Students who have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive are strongly recommended to attend.

Instructions

  1. Register online at http://www.pennstatetesting.com/al. Your User ID is the first part of your email address (xyz1234) without "@psu.edu."
  2. Bring your smartphone and your Penn State ID card to the Sheet Family Health Center. No additional registration or scheduling required.

The test is a shallow nasal swab test. The combined registration and testing process should take approximately 10-15 minutes from start to finish, depending on how many individuals are in the queue.
