Penn State Altoona offers Business Bootcamp beginning in October

ALTOONA, Pa. — Penn State Altoona is offering a Business Bootcamp open to entrepreneurs in all stages of development. The camp will provide resources and education to help turn ideas into successful businesses.

This nine-week class will help entrepreneurs become business-ready by giving free, professional support. Weekly speakers include Certified Public Accountant Randy Tarpey, Attorney Ben Yeager, and Tom Seasoltz, chief financial officer at Altoona and Blair County Development Corporation.

The first session will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 2, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Altoona Launchbox, 1331 12th Ave., Suite 103, in downtown Altoona. Subsequent classes take place each Wednesday through Dec. 4.
