
Biography
Todd D. Batzel received the B.S. and PhD. degrees in electrical engineering from the Pennsylvania State University, University Park, in 1984 and 2000, respectively, and the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, PA, in 1989. Currently, he is an associate professor of electrical engineering at Penn State Altoona. His research interests include electric machines, electric motor controls, power electronics, predictive diagnostics for electric machinery, artificial intelligence applications to control, and embedded control systems.
