Pamela Blackmon, professor of political science, earned her doctorate from the University of Miami. Her research interests include international trade and finance, international economics and the international financial institutions. She has published articles in Third World Quarterly, International Studies Review, The International Trade JournalCentral Asian Survey, and Women's Studies among others. Her latest book The Political Economy of Trade Finance: Export Credit Agencies, the Paris Club and the IMF, was published in 2017 by Routledge. Her first book In the Shadow of Russia: Reform in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan was published in 2011 by Michigan State University Press.
