Biography
John Girard is an Instructor in Mechanical Engineering, and has taught courses in statics, strength of materials, quality control, and CNC machining at Penn State; as well as physics and algebra courses at Penn Highlands Community College. Mr. Girard has an M.S. degree in Systems Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, and a B.S. degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology from Penn State. Mr. Girard is also a graduate of the Defense Language Institute. In addition to his teaching experience, Mr. Girard has been employed as an engineer with the Department of the Navy and a local defense contractor.
