Anja Wagner is a native of Fulda, Germany. She received her undergraduate degree in Special Education and her Master of Education in Early Intervention from the Pennsylvania State University. She also holds an Infant Mental Health Certificate from Chatham University. She is in the process of translating more than 250 pages of German correspondence to and by Prince Demetrius Gallitzin from 1788 to 1835 for the Vatican in Rome. She was also a reviewer for the third edition of the German textbook Vorsprung. She is especially interested in how the German language is changing and incorporating English words due to globalization. In addition to teaching German, she is a part-time instructor for the Human Development and Family Studies Department at Penn State Altoona.
