Penn State Altoona colloquium to explore evolution of stage performance project

ALTOONA, Pa. — Penn State Altoona’s College Colloquium series continues with a presentation by Amir Marvasti, professor of sociology, on Thursday, Feb. 26, from 12:05 to 1:20 p.m. in the Fireside Lounge of the Slep Student Center.

Marvasti’s presentation, titled “From Research Transcripts to the Stage,” will delve into the evolution of his “Stories of Courage” project into a staged performance piece. In particular, he will discuss the challenges and opportunities for staging qualitative research data.
