Penn State Altoona to host ‘Say My Name’ event Sept. 3 and 4

Penn State Altoona faculty and staff are invited to the “Say My Name” initiative on Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 3 and 4, from 10 to 11 a.m. online via Zoom. Attendees will get some extra help in learning how to pronounce students' names correctly. This event will be facilitated by members of the international student community across the University.

ALTOONA, Pa. — Penn State Altoona faculty and staff are invited to the “Say My Name” initiative on Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 3 and 4, from 10 to 11 a.m. online via Zoom.

Attendees will get some extra help in learning how to correctly pronounce their students' names. This event will be facilitated by members of the international student community across the University.

Faculty and staff may attend one or both days and attendees should bring their class lists. While drop-ins are welcome, they can also schedule an appointment.
