ALTOONA, Pa. — Penn State Altoona will host its third annual International Conference on Empirical Economics Aug. 2-3, featuring both online and in-person sessions.
This year’s program includes 193 selected submissions from 213 distinguished scholars affiliated with institutions around the world, ensuring a multifaceted exploration of economic issues.
The goal of the conference is to provide participants with a platform to share their research, engage in discussions and foster collaborations with fellow researchers.
Zoom sessions take place Saturday, Aug. 2, with a keynote by Clifford Lam from the London School of Economics and Political Science, who will present on matrix-valued factor models.
In-person sessions are on Sunday, Aug. 3, at the Sheraton Pittsburgh Hotel at Station Square in Pittsburgh.
