ALTOONA, Pa. — Penn State Altoona students, faculty and staff are invited to participate in campus events for Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
All are encouraged to wear denim on Wednesday, April 30, for Denim Day, which aims to combat victim blaming, promote awareness of sexual violence, and to honor survivors of sexual assault.
Also on April 30, the campus community may show their support for sexual assault survivors at the Cover the Cruiser event from noon to 2 p.m. outside of the Slep Student Center.
Attendees will be able to write a message of support and attach it to a police cruiser.
