Penn State Altoona to present faculty panel on March 17

The Student Pathways to Undergraduate Research (SPUR) program is geared towards students who don’t know much about, or don’t know how to get involved with, undergraduate research.

ALTOONA, Pa. — Penn State Altoona’s Student Pathways to Undergraduate Research (SPUR) program will host a faculty panel on Thursday, March 17, from 12:05 to 1:05 p.m. in the Pond View Lounge of the Slep Student Center.

Students will have the opportunity to ask professors about research, career opportunities, and their experiences in academia.

There will be faculty from the disciplines of biology, education, electro-mechanical engineering technology, English, history, human development and family services, mathematics, mechanical engineering, and physics.
