Parking

Registration for student parking during the fall and spring semesters is an online application process and requires credit card payment.

NOTE: Students are not required to have permits during the summer sessions.

On the Ivyside campus, faculty and staff parking is available in the Cypress, ERL, Eve, Facilities and Operations, Maple, Misciagna, Oak. Poplar, Slep, Smith, and Spruce Lots. Downtown parking for faculty and staff is available in the Penn, Rossman, and Yellow Lots. Parking assignments are made based on office location and the availability of spots.

Visitor parking areas are provided on the Ivyside campus in the Ivy and Misciagna Lots. Visitor and public parking is available in downtown Altoona curbside or in designated public parking lots by permit only.

The Penn State Altoona Parking Office is only responsible for parking tickets issued on the Penn State Altoona campus. Payment is due within thirty days of the date the ticket was issued. Appeals may be submitted for select violations within twenty days of the date the ticket was issued, but full payment must be submitted first.
