Penn State Altoona men's volleyball, the defending North Eastern Athletic Conference champions, opened the 2018 season by going 4-0 in the Misericordia University Cougar Kickoff Classic on Jan. 19-20.
Steve Richards, chair of the Penn State Altoona Philanthropic Council, and his wife, Michele J. De Leon, have made a $50,000 gift commitment to establish the Harold (Had) C. Richards Memorial Open Doors Scholarship at Penn State Altoona.
