Healthy Food

Looking for some tips on how to best eat while living in a residence hall? “Meals with Moms” has got you covered.

Each month through the end of the semester, three Health and Wellness staff, all moms, will visit a different residence hall. They’ll talk about ways to eat healthy on a budget and meals that can be prepared in your room. They’ll also answer questions.

Penn State Altoona libero Anna Batrus, of Altoona, was tabbed as the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference’s Defensive Player of the Week in women’s volleyball on Monday, Sept. 16.

Batrus racked up a team-high 72 digs in three non-conference home matches for the Penn State Altoona women’s volleyball team last week, helping the Lions go 2-1 in that span.

Penn State Altoona goalkeeper Sasha Mohoruk, of State College, was selected as the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference’s Defensive Player of the Week in men’s soccer on Monday, Sept. 16. Mohoruk tied the Penn State Altoona men’s soccer program’s single-game saves record on Thursday, Sept. 12, helping lead the Lions to their first victory of the 2024 season.
