For the third year in a row, Penn State Altoona softball infielder Gianna Hoppel, of Lewistown, was recognized by the College Sports Communicators for her academic success, as she was named to the organization’s NCAA Division III Academic All-District team.

Penn State Altoona will hold the Junior Engineers summer camp July 21-25 from 9 a.m. to noon. Designed for children in grades 4-6, the camp includes a week of hands-on activities and engineering.
