A series of interactive City Lights events will showcase Invent Penn State next month, as the annual series will visit Harrisburg; Washington, D.C.; Philadelphia and Pittsburgh from June 18–21.
Jeria Quesenberry, associate teaching professor in information systems at Carnegie Mellon University, runs a session of the Girls in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM) and the Arts Camp.
Shana Bogert, a sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, received her military honor cord from Penn State President Eric Barron during a ceremony May 3 that honored 28 active and retired members of the military who will be receiving degrees from Penn State this spring. Bogert will be receiving her bachelor's degree in athletic training.
Military honor cords were presented to 28 undergraduate and graduate students who will receive their Penn State degrees this spring, and who have honorably served, or are currently serving, in the U.S. military.
