Penn State Altoona softball swept the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference’s weekly awards, as the league office announced on April 7 that middle infielder Alyssa Fisher, of Lock Haven (pictured), was its Player of the Week and right-handed pitcher Josselyn Nau, of Bellefonte, was its Pitcher of the Week.

Penn State Altoona’s Kappa Delta Pi, Alpha Epsilon Pi Chapter inducted 11 new members during a ceremony held on March 29, 2025. This year’s inductees are Garbielle Feight, Chelsea McCloskey, Clay McIlnlay, Carly Mann, Kyra Markley, Mason Peterson, Brady Shehan, Emily Snyder, Morgan Stevens, Jaylee Shuke, and Lilian Zeigler.

Penn State Altoona inducted 10 new members into the Theta Chi Chapter of the Tri-Alpha Honor Society during a ceremony on Thursday, April 3. Tri-Alpha recognizes the academic achievements of first-generation college students who must have 30 credits and a 3.2 GPA. It also promotes leadership and provides support networks.
