Penn State Altoona baseball’s outfielder Zach Ingold, of Pittsburgh, was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference’s Player of the Week for the first time in his collegiate career, when the league office released its weekly awards on April 14.

The fourth annual Blair Creators Festival will take place Saturday, April 26, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at and around Heritage Plaza in downtown Altoona. The event is made possible through ArtsAltoona and the Sheetz Fellows Program at Penn State Altoona.

Ivyside Pride Spring 2025

Penn State Altoona’s Ivyside Pride choral group will offer its spring performance, “All Things Under Heaven,” at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, April 24 and 25, in the Wolf Kuhn Theatre of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts.

Penn State Altoona softball swept the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference’s weekly awards, as the league office announced on April 7 that middle infielder Alyssa Fisher, of Lock Haven (pictured), was its Player of the Week and right-handed pitcher Josselyn Nau, of Bellefonte, was its Pitcher of the Week.
