The English program at Penn State Altoona is pleased to announce a new concentration in Technical Writing. The Technical Writing concentration is a four-course option for English majors at Penn State Altoona. The concentration will give graduates an added credential that will make them even more competitive in the job market.

The spring 2023 issue of Hard Freight, Penn State Altoona's literary arts magazine, is now available online. It showcases undergraduate poetry, short fiction, creative nonfiction, visual art, audio, and a faculty spotlight featuring the work of Ian Marshall, emeritus professor of English and environmental studies.
