For the third time this season, Penn State Altoona libero Anna Batrus, of Altoona, was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference’s Defensive Player of the Week in women’s volleyball.
“Unplucked Gems,” a body of work by Ivyside Juried Art Exhibition winner Taylor Pilote, will be on display Oct. 12 through Dec. 9 in the McLanahan gallery of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts. The exhibition is free and open to the public.

As part of the Penn State Altoona Distinguished Speaker Series, Rainn Wilson will speak on campus at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 18, in the Arena of the Adler Athletic Complex.
