Patricia Jabbeh Wesley, professor of English at Penn State Altoona, was selected to write and read an original poem at the recent presidential inauguration in Liberia. The inauguration ceremony for Joseph N. Boakai took place on Jan. 22, at the Capitol Building in Monrovia. Many world leaders, including the United States representative to the United Nations, Linda Thomas-Greenfield, were in attendance.

Penn State Altoona will hold a “Breakfast and Learn” presentation by Shawn Bernecky, assistant teaching professor of business administration, from 8 to 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 28, in room 201 of the Sheetz Center for Entrepreneurial Excellence.
Bernecky’s presentation will focus on organizational change, such as diagnosing the need for it and understanding how to effectively lead the process of change within an organization.
