Penn State Altoona values and celebrates diversity in all of its forms. The educational environment of our College is enriched by the diversity of individuals, groups, and cultures that come together in a spirit of learning.
Penn State Altoona offers numerous opportunities to explore the arts, including two dance ensembles, vocal ensembles, a jazz band, visual art gallery exhibits, and readings of poetry and prose. Many of these performances and exhibits take place in the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts, home of the 400-seat Wolf Kuhn Theatre and the Sheetz and McLanahan art galleries.
Penn State Altoona is affiliated with Divison III of the NCAA and a member of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference. We offer opportunities for student-athletes in seventeen men's and women's sports, including baseball, basketball, bowling, golf, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, and wrestling. We also offer additional recreation and club sport opportunities.
