Academics

Penn State offers more than 275 majors from which to choose. Whether a student wants to start and complete their degree at one campus or begin at one and make a transition to another through the 2+2 academic path there are options. The links below provide details on these academic options and majors.

The 2+2 plan is the most common path to a Penn State degree. More than 50 percent of our students begin their Penn State experience at a Commonwealth campus.
