ALTOONA, Pa. — A recent interview with Patricia Jabbeh Wesley was featured in the “In Conversation” section of Asymptote Magazine. Jabbeh Wesley was the subject of the article “Every Dirge Sung: Patricia Jabbeh Wesley on Liberian Poetry as Literature of Witness.”

Jabbeh Wesley, a native Liberian and professor of English at Penn State Altoona, was interviewed by magazine editor Alton Melvar M Dapanas about her body of written and editorial work, her place as a war witness poet, and the contemporary landscape and future directions of Liberian literature.

Asymptote Magazine is an international literary journal dedicated to translation of world literature, including poetry, fiction, nonfiction, and drama to English and other languages.
