On Tuesday, March 12, 60 students, faculty, staff, and community members gathered in the Titelman Study of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts for the spring 2024 Hard Freight Café open mic event.
Attendees were invited to read or perform their own work or music or share a favorite piece of poetry or prose. The event coincided with the deadline for spring 2024 submissions to “Hard Freight,” Penn State Altoona’s online student literary magazine.
Hard Freight Café is sponsored by the English program and “Hard Freight.”
